Weight management is not really a science. It's an art. Granted, there is a considerable amount of biology and chemistry in the act of losing weight and knowing about a healthy way of eating and living. Putting it all together, though, is most definitely an art... an art that is as individual as you are.
Just as painting styles vary and ceramics artists each have a style, you too, are creating yourself everyday as a unique piece of art. How much time have you given yourself to comtemplate your beauty as a person? I'm not speaking merely physical beauty, but your beauty as a physical, mental, emotional, spiritual Being.
When you have too much weight or have other attributes that you have decided you don't like, it's not easy to look in the mirror and see anything you like, let alone love.
Please remember, as long as you are doing your best to find aspects of yourself to love you are doing well! Choose something to love about yourself. I started with my hair. At one point in my heaviest and most depressed days, I could always like my hair. That was about it for awhile. I've worked up to loving a lot about myself. It's taken some time and deliberate focus.
Granted, we all have really good reasons for being overweight or for keeping the attitudes about ourselves. We resist change even though change in our lives is as routine as breathing. We just fail to notice the changes we make. We do a good job of making believe that we have no control over all aspects of our lives. If you're reading this, however, you've been led to an awakening and it's time to make your future look the way you want it to.
Your future begins now.
Something is different now, isn't it? You're being guided to do something about your weight and the issues around it. You're looking at options. You want your solution. You want to be at peace. It's time to learn the Art of Healthy Weight Management.
